Gotta love the gooyieness and feeling it explode as you bite

  2. Chef I was friends with called eggs, “nature’s sauce”

No, there’s a federal statute prohibiting it. Make one and you’ll do real jail time.

Yee eggs are cool. On another note, is that burger triangular?

On burgers, yes. In burgers, that’s just meatloaf.

Contending with runny yolk all over my hands isn’t my thing, but I won’t get in anyone’s way over it if that’s their jam.

Yessir! I mean, I don’t do it all the time, but when I’m feelin’ it, *I’m feelin’ it!*

yes, but more than white bread is required to make it work. that is gonna be a mess.

Can ruin a burger pretty easily. I’d say if done properly then definitely but it’s a high risk.

It just makes everything taste like egg IMO, but to each their own!

My favorite breakfast place has a burger with a sunny side up egg and hollandaise sauce. It’s insanely good.

I run a brunch burger at my place with an egg, bacon and a dusting of espresso.

I lived in Sydney many years ago and the local takeaway had an egg and a slice of pineapple in one of their burgers. Was lovely!

    What’s with the gatekeeper mentality?

Edit: part of the burgers greatest assets is the versatility. When you limit that by being a purist your hurting what makes a burger great.

We just made it a permanent add-on to our burgers at the restaurant I run. Extra flavor, extra protein 💪

I’ve always had an idea for a burger that has deviled egg filling on it.

*Anything* is “allowed” on a burger. You could allow arsenic on your burger, probably just once though.

I guess you could cut a hole in the burger and drop and egg in there but I generally just like to put eggs ON my burgers.

Ground beef…eggs…and wonder bread…not sure what that is but a burger is a stretch

An egg, some breadcrumbs a bit of garlic salt makes your burgers moist and tasty

I call them breakfast burgers that way I can justify eating one at breakfast

Absolutely, along with a slice of ham and some crispy bacon

Australian burger with the lot Beef pattie, onion, bacon, egg, pineapple, mushroom, cheese, tomato, beetroot, lettuce and toasted bun. I like mine with BBQ sauce.

Egg & bacon roll with BBQ sauce another favourite.

Only time I like a sunny side egg is on a burger. Especially a breakfast scramble burger.
